Case Study:  Tricks and Principles of the anal breathing for ejaculation/urination control and better sexual orgasm
Reader: 8/4/2006>
Dear Dr Lin,

After reading your site I understand that contracting the PC muscle triggers the sympathetic nerves to induce ejaculation, whereas contracting the anus-tailbone muscle triggers the parasympathetic nerves to delay ejaculation. however i have 2 quick questions:
1) when i do your exercises i feel a strong contraction of the anus-tailbone muscle, but also a weaker contraction of the PC muscle. is this ok, am i correct in assuming that it's almost impossible to 100% completely isolate the anus-tailbone muscle?
2) how often should i exercise these anus-tailbone muscles, can i periodically contract them for 5-10 minutes everyday? is this too much or can i in fact do more?
Thanks for your help.

I think you exactly understand the distribution and functions of the parasympathetic and sympathetic nerves in the perineum and tailbone areas.
The PC muscle or perineum is the location where the sympathetic nerves L1 and L2 branching into the inner legs, prostate, bulbourethral glands and penis, while the tailbone is the outflow area of the parasympathetic nerves (S1-S5 and Co).
Calming down the L1 and L2, but promoting the S2-S4, will help urination and ejaculation control.
1. Don't control the anal-tailbone muscles too hard. If you can want too stimulate the tailbone, squeeze your butts against your tailbone while applying a light pressure against your bladder to expand your pelvic cavity (including the PC/perineum floor muscle) outward. In this way, the outward pressure in the PC/perineum muscle will counteract the squeezing pressure from your tailbone and butts.
2. Do the ananl-tailbone exercises (butts exercises) about 5 times a day at least. Spend about 5-10 minutes each time. In addition, if you go peeing, lift your ankles up and then use the anal-tailbone exercises to stop your urinary flow several times. Lifting the ankles up can avoid the PC muscles contraction.
