Dr Lin My wife is diabetic and she developed this knee pain several months ago.All the doctors we seen coupled with the MRI has resulted in what they say in arthritus. She can't have an operation because she is diabetic, and not old enough for knee replacement. She was told she would have to deal with it. I hope they are wrong and you tell me something can be done about this. She is 58yrs weighting 170 at 5'4". She takes glipizide/metformin 500mg 4 tabs a day, novolin 18cc at night, lisinoprol 10mg daily, and simvastatin 40mg daily. Before this pain she was normal and known she is getting frustrated because there in no life without this pain. She doesn't remember how this all started, but she thinks she slip one day. Thank you for all your advice..
