Dear Dr Lin,

I am concerned whether I should avoid reaching orgasms alltogether. I have been diabetic for 21 years and have serious side effects, particularly effecting my eyes. I have profilerative retinopathy and have been undergoing laser treatment. At the moment there is a large amount of blood leakages, affecting my vision by floating around. I am waiting for a vitrectomy operation on my other eye, which will also remove the leakages, but only in the other eye. I feel that after an orgasm my vision is even more blurred with blood leakages! I know orgasm increases blood circulation and pressure and wonder if that explains it. My vessels are weak and damaged and wonder if they burst during anorgasm? Do you agree and would I be better off without the pleasures of orgasm?
