Hi, I have damaged my penis through the repeated use of cock rings and although I can still get an erection it is quite difficult sometimes and does not last very long, and often it is not very hard though sometimes I have 'good days'. If you have to use a cockring to mechanically seal the penile veins for retaining your erection, you have been experiencing weak erection.
The veins are supposed to be corrupted by a rapid expansion of the penile spongy tissues when the blood flow rushes into the dilated penile arteries. The corruption of the veins don't 100% interupt the blood circulation into and out the penile chambers. The natual hard erection does not 100% seal the vein, and may still allow 1% blood circulation to the penile tissues to get oxygen, ormones and neurochemicals in supporting the continuous production of prostaglandin E-1 (PGE-1.
The weak erection accompnies a deficiency of the PGE-1) production in the penile tissues. PGE-1 is responsible for the elasticity of the tissues, nervous fibers and blood vessels.
