Vaginal thick, white discharge for no sexual orgasm

I have a constant vaginal discharge. It is often thick and white, and sometimes has a yellow tint to it. I have it all the time up until I start my period, and then it starts again once my period is over. I am not sexually active at all. What is it, what can i do to make it stop!?
