I am a 34 year old, physcially fit, single, professional, educated, female and suffer from the effects of drugs causing a lack of ability to orgasm. I take anti-depressants for anxiety, a beta-blocker for high blood pressure, and a birth control pill for birth control. I have been taking anti-depressants for 7 years. I have taken 100 mg of Zol?ft everyday until recently I switched to L?xapro (10mg) because my doc thought this would help alleviate some of the inabiltiy to orgasm. I tried to stop taking the anti-depressents, but without them, I can't work, drive, be away from a family member, etc. Without the beta blocker, my blood pressure was spiking to 170/100. I eat healthy and am an athlete, but high blood pressure runs in my family. What can I do to keep the anxiety and blood pressure at bay AND still have a healthy sex life?
