Why the testosterone therapy won't work for him.

Not a 'love problem', actually. I am on my 3rd doctor since March. Went to an Internist first, for another problem, but was (& continue)experiencing very low motivation in all areas of my life - have been experiencing this for the past 2-3 years & very unlike me...Asked her to check my testosterone levels & test came back at 245. She (internist) immediately wanted to put me on 'the patch' - I had read enough to know she did not have enough info to make that prescription. Next I went to a urologist, bringing him the results of some research I had done, having to do with heavy exposure I had, age 16-18, to a pesicide called chlordane. Chlordane is highly estrogenic. The urologist said he knew nothing about it, & didn't want to be involved. I determined on my own that no chlordane is still circulating within my system. Now I with a doctor at a place called Kronos - they are supposed to specialize in 'optimal health' & they are very expensive. This doctor started me o!
n Testosterone replacement (5% gel, applied to inner thighs once daily). My T was initially 330 before replacement (don't know why it had changed form 245), & after 6-7 weeks of using the gel, retested at 380. Estradiol went from 29 to 38. I didn't feel any better. I took a close look at all the test results & realized that LH, at 1.8 was very low, & DHEA, at 1.2 was also very low. Asked the doctor why replace testosterone, why not increase LH (via HCG) & DHEA (testosterone precursor) & see if my own body can produce more testosterone? They refuse to use HCG -they haven't explained why, yet. My energy is low, I am frustrated with these doctors, I think about suicide a lot. Do you have any advice - I would be very thankful.

1. The testosterone level varies from time to time during the day and night, it reaches its peaks at around 5 AM (highest peak) 10 AM (2nd peak), and 5 PM (3nd peak) and its troughs at 8 PM (lowest trough) and 2 PM (2nd trough).
The testosterone level of 245 indicates your testicular failure.
A performance testosterone level is around 600-900 ng/dl.
The 900 level is about the puberty boy's.
The sources of testosterone: Testicular function (about 70-90%), Adrenal function (about 10-15%), and brain and organ tissues (about 5-10%).

2. If you can not power your liver P450 detoxification system to reduce the production of the liver enzyme aromatase, testosterone replacement therapy will increase your estrogen level, instead of your testosterone level.
You need a liver detoxification and the brain's acetylcholine/parasympathetic nervous action to correct the liver P450 system.

3. A low LH level means: Your brain's dopamine nervous function is too weak to drive your pituitary function for the release of LH and FSH in stimulating your testicular function.
