I met my husband three years ago. We had the most wonderful sex I could have ever hoped for. He was my first, steady, on-going sexual partner. I had problems with recurrent yeast and bacterial infections. Although I had these infections a lot, it usually didn't cause much problems for me sexually. Then I went on birth control. Then about a year ago I noticed that I didn't orgasm as frequently or my orgasm wasn't as intense or lasted as long. Then about half a year ago I noticed that my infections would hinder my sexual activity, making it painful, but after medication, it would get better. NOw for the last couple months, I almost always have pain during intercourse. I have treated and retreated infections, but to no relief, at least sexually. I'm not lubricated enough, or my vulva hurts or scratches or it burns inside. The last couple times I was tested for infections, they were negative.
