Birth control causes her spotting, irregular bleeding, and heavy brown discharge for no more sexual orgasm

Reader: 1/03/2004> Ok I've been on the birth control (microogestin fe 1/20) for about 4 months now. My problem is that I haven't had my monthly period to the extent of blood and cramps and all the fun stuff women go through for atleast 3 of those months, instead I get a brown gooy dischage with a small amount of blood in it. I've been on this birth control before which was about a year and a half ago and never seem to have this problem except if I missed a pill but I have been taking my pills this time around like I am suppose. Now I was also taking synthroid for about 2 to 3 years but I stopped that much before going back on the bc pill so I'm very confused and would like to see from a doctors point what it could be or what I should or need to do.
