Hello , after searching the net for other men with my problem i came accross your site. Please help with some advice about my vasectomy problem. I had it done 5 years ago and almost immediately started with the following problem. just after the operation i started to feel very tight on the right side of my scrotum and have had a dull throbbing ache almost non stop since. Sex which was good before now has all kinds of problems , both physically and mentally. Once i have had an errection for about ten minutes i have a hard small knot like lump in my right testicle which gets proggreaisvely harder and more tender. It then goes from tender to very painful. It has also the side effect of making my feel sick and i have a pulling sensation that travels from my testicle up into my stomach. As you can understand at this point i begin to loose interest in sex due to the now quite acute pain. If i get to ejaculation which i might add is only 40% of the time it is weak and almost non feeling, i am aware of sperm coming out of my penis but have virtually no sensation at all. Once i have ejaculated i can sometimes be physically sick. Sex sometimes has to be stopped in mid flow if it gets to bad. After visiting my doctor over the first couple of years who reffered me back to a specialist who said theres nothing wrong other than a slight hardening of the knot (think he called it a granola ). He then said it was not possible to do anything other than to re shorten the vask on the right side which may or may not cure the problem. He made me feel like a time waster and i have not been back for the last three years as he and my doctor don't really seem to know or care about my problem. Can you help with any advice or drug i might be able to take to dull the pain as i would like to have some kind of sexual contact with my wife, and not be in agony for days afterwards. By the way after sex the acute aching can last for 4/5 days before reverting back to abearable throbbing ache.
