The excessive stress neurohormones norepinephrine and epinephrine can cause COX-2 over-expression for the prostaglandin E-2 synthesis in the tissue. Prostaglandin E-2 stimulates a pro-inflammatory factor for the difficulty of shutting the bladder-urethral outlet valve.
