The dark eye circles are due to a trapping of histamine and
epinephrine in the tissue. This also implies you are very easy to have sinus or nasal and eye allergy.
Histamine turns skin to darkness. The trapping epinephrine also turns the blood color to dark and bluish red and usually
constricts the local arteries for no more blood circulation there. Due to the poor blood circulation in the face and eyelid tissue, it is not easy to remove
both histamine and epinephrine out of there. That means if you have a better eyelid blood circulation, the dark eye circles will become lighter.
A constantly elevation of epinephrine in the bloodstream is a real problem for the dark eye circles.
My young brother once with excessive stress neurohormone epinephrine experienced numbness in his half face and was unable to close his eyelids during sleeping for many days.
He has to do a lot of face massage and heat treatment to improve his face blood circulation to restore his face muscle control.
