What's up Dr. Lin, I'm a college student at community college and have been masturbating 4-5 times a day since I was 13. When I was 16 my parents divorced and instead of me dealing with the pain by forms of alcohol or drug abuse, I turned to accessive masturbation. As a result, I became extremely depressed and actually was put into a psychiatric facility because of psychotic symptoms. As if this is bad enough, I also contracted gonnoreah from a girl I was having intercourse with at the time. This really put me over the edge and I actually tried to commit suicide. For religious reasons, i have come to the conclusion that i would like to stop masturbation completely until i find the right women. Since you are very exhausted and semen production is very slow, you can stop ejaculating for many weeks.
If you stop masturbation, you should have a wet dream once a while as normal.
Based upon your wet dream frequency, you can determine your ejaculation frequency.
A high does of GABA at about 1000-1500 mg a day (500 mg 3 times a day) can block the dopamine action on the oxytocinergic neurons projecting to extra-hypothalamic brain and the spinal cord for cutting down the masturbation habit.
