I am 28 years old unmarried and I never have any problem with erection in my entire life before this. I have been taking finastere since June 2004. Two months back I had sex with my girlfriend and after that I did not get erection and had mild pain in the testes. This continues for 18 days. In that 18 days I was totally impotent. In those 18 days I sometimes get morning erection but most of the time I did not have morning erection
Then I start feeing some sensation on the 18 day and get 30-40% erection. Then after 2-3 days
I get full sex and 100% erection. I called my girlfriend again and had successful sex with her. I thought as I am 100% fine.

But after that I again got impotence felt same mild pain in my testes after sex.But this time it was for 4 days. After that I start feeling some erection but not full. Then I decided not to do sex for some days so as to give rest to my system for restoration.

After that I quite often get 100% erection in those days and had night discharge 2-3 times. I felt 90% normal. Then after some 20 days I thought to masturbate. As I try to masturbate, I felt that I was not able to get full erection. I get around 70% of the erection. Though on the same day I had felt full erection while thinking of sex. I felt liek now the erection is not according to my will as it used to be before like I may get 100% erection sometimes but not always. That time I try to ejaculate with that partial erection ( around 70% ) and I ejaculate But after that I got same pain in testes and COMPLETE impotence and it has been 6 days. I am having pain in testes and behing scrotum and it doesnt not ceases this time. I think I should not have masturbated for that partial erection

I am feeling like I may get full sex and complete erection but only if I do not have sex for long time and even in that state ( that is if I have not ejaculated for 15-20 days) I may get 100% erection on its own but not according to my will. I mean it is not guaranteed like it used to be sure.

As I read on internet I think that finasteride has done permanent changes to my body as the 5 alpaha reluctase blocking effect of drug is irreversible.

What do you think what percent are the cances that I may restore my sexual function

finasteride blocks the liver 5-alpha reductase release and disable its gene in the testicles, prostate and penis. As a result, your testosterone-DHT conversion in the brain, testicles, prostate, seminal vesicles, and penis are fully disabled.
