Please help me...i am recently married and i don't know what to do!! i used to have an insatiable appetite for sex with my (then boyfriend) husband. but in the last year i have seen that desire diminish to zero. at first i thought it was stress and would go away after the wedding, but now 8 months later i am starting to worry! i want to desre my husband, but i just feel lethargic and undesirable (even though i look almost the same as i've always looked in this relationship). my libido has disappeared. even when my mind says i want it, i cannot make my body cooperate. i have even lost the desire to masturbate (i used to do this almost daily). when we do have intercourse, my vagina is extremely dry and irritated - lately i've been noticing a cold sensation during intercourse. is this normal for a woman my age? does this mean i am frigid? will i become infertile? i can say that i am on oral contraceptives (i've been on them since 2000) and have been a heavy marijuana smoker (daily). but neither of those things ever affected me negatively before. i've even tried quitting smoking, but that doesn't seem to work either.
