Hello Dr Lin!

I was a Propec!a (finasteride) user until 6 months ago, after being on it for 14 months. I decided to quit because I got the wellknown side-effects: mood swings, depression, chest pains/nipple growth, weak libido and so forth. Now 6 months later I'm feeling totally shit (pardon my french). I've been having all kids of syptoms which the doctors I've been to can't describe. About 8 weeks ago I began having twitches all over my body and my ligaments and bones felt very weak and ached. At first I thought that I was out of shape, but this was not the cause at all. Now more and more symptoms appeared without a reasonable cause. I've kept a log on all of my symptoms and here they are:

Pressure on my throat/tonsils

Acid from the stomach/throat

Pain/stabbing pain in joints, bones, ligaments and skeleton(maybe bones)?

Twitches/spasms/contractions/cramps/stabbing pain in the muscles, especially in the arm/hands and leg/feet region

Heat development and pressure in the ears.

Stab like pain in the penis and testicle area
Pain after ejaculation in the penis head/shaft/urethra? section
Trouble mantaining an erection (about 70%)
No morning wood anymore
Weak/lessened libido
I'm also somehow got to suffer from penile curvature, the penis always bends to the left side. It didn't do that before and while I was on Propec!a, it's something I just discovered.

My stomach is more upset and I pass gas more frequently, which I never did before.
Burning sensation/sore in and around the rectum area

Severe headaches and mild ones
Pressure in the head/confusion

Vertigo/dizzines/lack of concentration/fatigue

Depression/apathy

And perhaps the most irritable symptom of them all: A burning scalp, it itches and burns quite a lot during the day. I've tried tons of different shampoos and such, nothing has relieved the burning sensation; it's almost unbearable and it's killing me inside. What can be done to reduce or eliminate the burn?

I'm a healthy active 21 year old guy, who wants nothing else than to have a normal, functioning body. I think Propec!a has messed up my hormone levels severly and that's why I'm experiencing these symptoms. I've many of the articles on your site and find the useful and informative. Now I just wonder what YOU recommed me of your products. And how long should I continue the regimen until my liver, brain and other organs are restored? I appreciate any advice because I can't turn any else where.
