Case Study: chronic drug abuse killed his 19 year old neuro-endocrine
function for no erection or/and sexual orgasm !
Reader: 11/18/2005>Ok, this is the story. Currently I am experiencing problems with keeping an erection (less than 10 seconds), achieving erections (40%-70%). I have been treated with Cialis (mildly effective), Viagra and Yohimbe (ineffective). Moreover, even when my sexual functions are aided by Cialis, most of the time I have a pre-mature ejaculation problem (1-4 min), with a mediocre-intensity orgasm lasting for about two seconds. The urologist I am seeing seems to be more frustrated than I am. Any suggestions?
I am not quite certain what qualifies as over-masturbation. I have been masturbating since I was 12 with a frequency varying somewhere between once a week and twice a day. I started being sexually active at the age of 15 with a rare intercourse (once/twice a week). In past six months, however, I have had a stable partner and the sexual frequency varies between every-two-days to three-times-a-day (leaning towards the latter). I have a history of drug abuse: alcohol (light to moderate since 13), tobacco (between 8-15 cigarettes a day since 13, stop-start mechanism with 4-months-stop 8-months-start for past two years), marihuana (14-17, light, once a week, occasionally more), exstasy (three-times overall), piracetamol (about a year and half with 1200mg a day, not any more), caffeine (heavy, have gone from one cup of coffee to about 250mg of processed caffeine (pills) a day to this day). I have consumed a substantial ammount of medications (asthma control - Ventolin, flixotide, !
serevent others which I do not remember; antihistaminics since age of 8, polinex, self-administered dosage of ginseng, ginko biloba and piracetamol, melatonin, diphenhydramine HCL, this is what I can think about right now). My last blood test showed 505 ng/dL testosterone and 12.0 pg/mL free testosterone. I suspect this may be part of the problem , since I have seen a complete stop in increase of body hair growth area (especially face, which is clearly not fully developed) since age of 17 (approximately the time of the onset of the problems, worsening with time).
Dr. Lin: 11/18/2005>
With a long history of drug abuse, no wonder your
testicular function is so weak at age 19.
According to your testosterone level, your neuro-endocrine function is like a 50-60 year old man's.
When all the erectile drugs won't work well, your parasympathetic and sympathetic erectile nervous function are not working properly..
