Case Study: Why birth control pills caused her recurring yeast infection
for no more sexual orgasm

Hi Dr Lin,
I took a morning after pill 3 weeks ago and got a yeast infection a week later. I used an over the counter remedy to get rid of it but now (2 weeks later) i have another yeast infection. Thats 2 in 2 weeks! I did not get it transferred from my boyfriend because we use condoms. It is really itchy and irritating and i do not understand why i would get 2 in 2 weeks. Did the morning after pills mess me up??? Is it going to go away this time. I bought more yeast infection medicine and used it today. Please help me, thanks!!!

The birth control pills' artificial progesterone
or/and estrogen induced the excessive immune suppressor prostaglandin E-2 release in your uterus, cervix and vagina for your yeast infection. This problem is usually caused by a lack of natural
progesterone, estrogen and androstenedione/testosterone after your pituitary-ovarian function was shut down by the birth control pills.
Your liver is too weak to detoxify the artificial progesterone into natural one.
The natural progesterone won't cause this problem although excessive natural progesterone will induce vaginal dryness and a lack of
prostaglandin E-1 in the uterine-support ligaments, cervix and vaginal tissue for PMS, intercourse pains and white
vaginal discharge. A balanced progesterone and estrogen level are for essential for a healthy prostaglandin E-1 and E-2 production in your vagina, uterus and cervix. A
pregnant woman will have an elevating level of prostaglandin E-1 and E-2 for uterine expansion and fetal growth, without pains and infection, where prostaglandin E-1 plays the housekeeping role. Once the progesterone drops near the pregnancy term, prostaglandin E-2 in the cervix shoot up for laboring (of course, pains!).
The pills emulate the pregnancy condition in the brain, but cause the deficiency of natural progesterone, estrogen,
androstenedione and testosterone in the uterus, cervix and vagina for the problems - Overproduction of prostaglandin E-2 without prostaglandin E-1, where the androgen hormone androstenedione and testosterone can enhance prostaglandin E-1 release and suppress prostaglandin E-2 production under this condition.
