Case Study: Why erectile drug + testosterone replacement won't work for
erection sexual orgasm for patients having had antidepressants, opioids and
anti-hypertensives

I am a pain specialists. I have several patients with erectile dysfunction. I've tried
V!agra + androgel without success. Most are on antidepressants, opioids and anti-hypertensives. Can you suggest anything?
Dr. Lin: 2/09/2006>Most of the patients having had antidepressants, opioids and anti-hypertensives experience the
hypothalamus-pituitary-testicular functional disorders due to deficiency of the
acetylcholine/parasympathetic, dopamine, serotonin and GABA functions with the
excessive epinephrine and sympathetic nervous Fire or Flight action. Their
brains are like an overheated engine being cooled by a chilly/ice water
(estrogen and prolactin). The oxytocin and DHT level in their bloodstream are too low to support the nervous erectile function; their estrogen and prolactin level may be too high due to excessive liver enzyme aromatase release. Aromatase can turn
androgen hormonesl into estrogen, rather than testosterone and DHT; in particular, the testosterone-DHT conversion requires the liver enzyme 5-alpha reductase and a normal testicular function.
Most of the drug uses alternate the liver enzyme release.
At the same time, when you load androgen into the liver, it triggers liver aromatase and SHGB protein release, instead of 5-alpha reductase.
Check the patients' LH, FSH, prolactin, oxytocin, DHEA, testosterone, DHT and estrogen level in the afternoon 2-4:00 PM will disclose their liver, pituitary, adrenal and testicular function.
