Dr. Lin,
About two years ago during an over-masturbation binge, I held off ejaculating a bit too long and it felt like something 'broke' or 'popped' in the base of my penis. I lost my erection and ever since have had problems maintaining an erection.
In the past during foreplay with my wife, I could get and maintain a strong erection for 15+ minutes before intercourse and would have strong ejaculations. Now I can only get a weak erection for about 2 minutes and then it feels like all the blood rushes in the wrong direction. I go extremely limp and if I can get the erection back, it's very weak. I can ejaculate (weak as well and little volume), but can never get hard even during ejaculation. During the 2 minutes I'm semi-erect, my body and mind are sexually aroused but when I go limp, my body and mind almost become numb. Bodily touching and kissing doesn't help and my mind begins to focus on the problem, not sex.
Every now and then there is a glimpse of hope and I can get a full erection, but for the most part things are frustrating in bed. It's starting to effect our love life as we never know which erection will show up.
Currently I'm not masturbating at all (over a month) and we try to have sex at least once a week but no more than twice a week. No drugs, medication, alchohol, etc. I thought it might be stress but don't feel it is. We eat healthy (mostly organics), take vitamins/minerals, and excercise 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
It just feels like things are flowing in the wrong direction and that the mechanism to keep the blood in my penis is not functioning correctly.
Any suggestions you have would be welcome,

Yes, the blood flow is supposed go down to your pelvic area; instead, it shoots up to your brain.
So, you have your brain over-heated and your penis stays cool.
