Hi Dr Lin,

I'm a fit 24 year old male. I hardly drink and dont smoke. I've read a few of your articles and seem to have symptoms related to several.

Firstly I have been on a range of prescribed drugs for acne since I was about 16, including Roaaccutane. I still get spots and have some scarring, but the worst is now over. Never had any pains.

I'm very worried about my sexual health. Since an early age (probably 14) I masturbated at least 2 times day, mainly using a massaging vibrator. Often I would have multiple ejaculations. I stopped using the massager about 2 years after, but carried on masturbating as frequently. I would ejaculate very quickly (within a few minutes generally).

I had sex for the first time when I was 19. The first time I did, I had a medium erection, but only lasted for about 10mins. As soon as I ejaculated my penis very quickly lost its size and I couldn't get erect again for another session.

I did worry and when I next had sex I got a weak/medium erection, but while fumbling to insert my penis, I lost the erection. I'm not sure if this is anxiety. I've always had a weak erection though, where the penis is floppy (especially at the base) and difficult to insert into the vagina.

I have had strong erections while masturbating, but they don't happen too often.

I hadn't had sex since (afraid this would happen again) till recently.
I have the same symptoms though. I get aroused and quite hard erection. However, when I know intercourse is coming, try to concentrate hard on maintaining a hard erection. I ejaculate prematurely, often as I'm trying to insert my penis, before even entering the vagina. (I think I must work to desentisize the head of my penis). As soon as this happens, my penis shrinks and therefore cannot even insert.

I'm very embarassed by this problem. My girlfriend is tolerating at the moment, but she questions whether I find her attractive (and I DO). It's really worrying me now as it is a major part of the relationship and because I'm very young.

I have noticed that I do also have floaters in my eyes. I currently masturbate about once a day.

Please offer me some advice. I think I have over masturbated now/in my youth and got used to ejaculating too quickly.
