Case Study: Why his Testosterone Replacement Therapy failed to restore his
sexual function and orgasm.

About 4 years ago, I tried testosterone replacement therapy because my level was low (between 250 and 350). On about the 3rd day of treatment (topical cream), it kicked in very strong and made me very horny. After that, it never really worked very good until I came off of it after about 9 months. About the 2nd or 3rd day after quiting it, it kicked in again and I felt real horny for about a day, and then it was over. It was like something in my body adjusted to the testosterone during the whole 9 months because it only worked at the very start, and the very end. I checked my levels during the 9 months with a saliva test, and my T level was high, but my estrogen level was also a little too high (39). It was supposed to be lower than 30. I had them add Chrysin to the testosterone mixture to help lower the estrogen, but I'm not sure if that really helped.
Can you explain what was going on with my body during my therapy? Could estrogen have been my whole problem? Do you have any suggestions on how I can feel better? Thank you for your help.
