i've been having several problems over the past year and i was hoping you might be able to help.

i began masturbating at age 14, and i have more or less masturbated every day since. i am now 26. occasionally, i have streaks where i masturbate 3 or more times in a day. i used to drink pretty heavily, but over the past few years i have been drinking less frequently.

my main problem, i believe, began approximately 4 years ago when i was prescribed a drug called addera!l as im sure you know it's a stimulant and it was given to me to help me study, as i am in a very competitive academic program. i found the drug very enjoyable, and have often abused it. i often masturbate excessively when i am on it. in addition i often take far more than my prescribed dose, and combine it with alcohol. i would prefer not to be on the drug at all (and i often stop for weeks at a time) but unfortunately i have gotten to the point where i feel completely unable to concentrate without it. i am unable to study without it. it seems to have completely drained me mentally. in addition, i cannot help but masturbate when i am taking it, and that often leaves me depleted sexually. i still have fairly strong erections, but only after i have been off the drugs for several weeks. even then, i masturbate often.

what can i do to restore (or even increase) my capacity to concentrate? are my sexual problems related to this? have i done any permanent damage to my nervous system or sexual organs? i would very much like to stop taking this drug.

i tried to call you this morning but unfortunately i had a bad connection. i am sure you are quite busy so i will try to make this as succinct as possible.

i am a 26 year old male with the following symptoms:
- very poor concentration / mental focus
- decreased memory
- weak erections
- loss of erection during sex

- blurry vision
