Case Study:Why over-ejaculation (frequent ejaculation) results in burning (painful)
sensation of urethra, prostate and bladder for urination diffculty, frequent urination, overactive bladder symptom and no sexual orgasm
Reader: 4/26/2007>
i have burning in the area of either my prostate or the bladder when it has any significant buildup of urine burning feet accompany this i am 73 and have sex an average of 5 times a week have had 30 days of testosterone there seems to be some sense of irritation in either the
urethra or the prostate
Dr. Lin: 4/27/2007>
This is due to excessive ejaculation induced prostaglandin E2 production in the urethra,
bulbourethral glands, prostate and bladder.
With hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal and -testicular weakness, each ejaculation
will induce excessive prolactin, epinephrine and cortisol release which continue to elevate after each ejaculation.
For a healthy adrenal function, cortisol is supposed not to elevate during or after orgasm. The elevation of cortisol will suppress the adrenal DHEA and testicular testosterone and DHT production and trigger a continuous release of prolactin from the pituitary for prolonging the refraction time, post-ejaculation fatigue and excessive inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E2 release.
Generally, excessive prolactin, epinephrine and cortisol induce prostaglandin E2 production for inflammation and pain as a warning sign.
Beside, frequent ejaculation abrade your prostate, bulbourethral glands and urethra and induce extra production of prostaglandin E2 for swelling and burning.
A swelling prostate and urethral duct let you experience urination difficulty after ejaculation.
The prostate PSA level becomes very high within 48 hours after each ejaculation if your prostate, urethra and bulbourethral glands are abraded and they release excessive inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E2.
You have to let prolactin, epinephrine, cortisol and prostaglandin E2 drop back to an averaged normal level before you can ejaculate again.
The refraction time for men of age 70 is about 7-8 days. That is, you can ejaculate about once every 7-8 days.
