I am trying to stop peeing by squeezing my butt muscles on tippy toes for a
few weeks now and I can't seem to make the pee stop. Do you have any other
hints on how to get these muscles activated? Or do I just keep trying?

Dr. Lin: 4/14/2008>Yes. since the L1-L2 sympathetic
and S1-S5 parasympathetic branch nerves trigger and control/modulate the
prostate/bladder urination action, respectively, and their other branch nerves
run through the legs, down to the toes. When you lift your ankles up and
load your body weight on your toes like what a ballet dancer does, a strong
sympathetic sensory signal from your legs and toes in L1 and L2 branches will
interfere with or attenuate the sympathetic action signals on the prostate and
bladder. At the same time, when squeezing or compressing your butts against your
tailbone will trigger S1-S5 to generate action signals to your prostate and
bladder for urinary or ejaculation control and to your legs and toes where the
reaction signals in S1-S5 generated by ankle lifting and toe weight loading will
be attenuated.
This means: lift the ankles and load your body weight on your toes, while
squeeze the butts against your tailbone to stop your urinary flow (or
ejaculation when you have sex with the horse-rider posture).
When you train your tailbone nervous reflexion for autorhythmic contraction
nervous plasticity, you will no longer lift your ankles and load your weight on
you toes to achieve the urinary and ejaculation control. The autorhythmic
contraction nervous plasticity in the S1-S5 will allow to trigger autorhythmic
tailbone contractions once you focus your mind onto the tailbone and pull the
muscles up toward your spine.
