Oxytocin is also essential to overall testicular functions, regular semen production and sexually-stimulated erection . If his pituitary gland can not produce oxytocin, he would have no enough semen to ejaculate and no enough penile sensitivity to generate nerves pulses in the vegal/parasymapthetic nerves to his pituitary gland for alternative release of prolactin and oxytocin. He will require a heavy stimulation on his urethra to have ejaculation.
Insufficient semen and testosterone production are the general cause of retarded ejaculation. Under this condition, if he is forced to ejaculate, his ejaculation fluid is thin and watery.
