News updated:
Case Study: Vasectomy can decrease the testicular testosterone and DHT
production
Reader: 6/05/2009>Hi Dr. Lin
I have recently undergone a vasectomy, two days ago, and did not think to read
about it on your site beforehand. After reading some of the potential
problems I am a little freaked out.
All of the information I read elsewhere indicated that there are no real side
effects, however your site indicates otherwise.
I am mostly concerned about:
1) Ability to "power up" for sex
2) Drop in testosterone and other important sex drive related items
In the past few weeks I have been working on the "power up" technique
and had not yet been successful at attaining a full erection with scrotum
tight. I have been taking a mens multivitamin and whey protin for these
two weeks also, and have noticed a gradual increase in the psi of my penis.
I appreciate any help and advice you may have - and if you can recommend any
suppliments that may help I would appreciate that as well.
Thank you
Dr. Lin: 6/05/2009>It is expected that your
testosterone and DHT will drop about 23% and 40%, respectively.
This change will be gradually, and take about 1-2 year.
If you pre-vasectomy testosterone level is about 700 nd/dl, typically at your
age, your testosterone level will be about 539 ng/dl, next year this time.
And you will start to encounter erectile problems, such as going limp during
sex.
If you pre-vasectomy DHT level is about 70 nd/dl, typically at your age,
your DHT level will be about 40 nd/dl, next year this time. And you will start
to feel penile shrinkage.
If you experience blue-ball testicular pain due to sperm antigen leakage to the
bloodstream, your testicular function is still very good. But, the
more sex will give you the more pain.
You can take ViaPal-hGH-J(3-015) and ArgiNOx(1-018), plus FishOil(1000 mg each
meal) to help you power your erection up. http://action.love/mail/herbform.htm

In addition, Vasectomy is linked to prostate cancer - in "Early and late long-term effects of vasectomy on serum

follicle-stimulating hormone levels." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7500459?ordinalpos=18&itool=

It also gradually alternates Leydig-cell, LH and FSH in the long run - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1794840?ordinalpos=23&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_
