However, it can be as deep as 0.5 inches from the vaginal orifice for some women. It leaves a small opening for the vaginal fluid to discharge out. It is the symbol of virginity for young women in the good old days. Generally speaking, It is very elastic. It is not easy to penetrate it for some virgins. Unexperienced men may have a hard time to break it in the first time intercourse. When it is torn, it causes a lot of pain for a virgin. A object bigger than a finger (0.5" or larger) may encounter high resistance to pass through. However, some women's hymen is so fragile that violent exercises or horse riding can destroy the hymen without pain or bleeding! |
