Reader: 10/1/1999> I am curious to know about the average shape of a penis. I have noticed that the average shape of an erect penis curves upward. But what about other penis's that don't curve upward. Is there a problem that a doctor should be awre of? sincerely, Curious. Dr. Lin:10/7/1999> Three factors affecting the erected penile shape: 1. Erection power - Over-ejaculation and over-masturbation kills erection and curve the penis down. 2. Penile tissue uneven development - disease, mechanical damage, or wild masturbation.. 3. Uneven circumcision - Over-trimming of foreskin. Only Factor 1 is fully curable. Repower the brain/nervous/endocrine functions for a hard erection! Factor 2 can be corrected to certain degrees without disturbing the penile spongy tissue by penile massage and erection power.. Factor 3 is very critic for the new born. Doctors should be aware of Factors 2 and 3. |
