Having had my prostate removed due to prostate cancer, my sex life has been altered though not eliminated. The surgeons do not bother to tell you that it will not be the same orgasm without the muscle of the prostate there to add to the contractions. Also as you imply there is a buildup of pressure in the prostate. A question: sex desire still seems to be periodic, can't have orgasms 12X a day just because there is no ejaculate! Why is this?

It seems like the orgasm is more difficult to trigger and is more certain to be complete and satisfying if induced by my hand under my control, to provide exactly the stimulus necessary in exactly the right way. With mutual pleasuring with my wife, we still have enjoyable sex (usually without penetration due to less than a full erection, and she doesn't always care for the penetration, as her orgasm is more predictable with something like your "finger plier" technique. Actually the quality of my orgasms has improved somewhat with my acceptance of what brings it on the best. Better to adjust to what works!

Tried one Vi?gra pill once, but even with a slightly more rigid erection, the end result was no better, and the time necessary for the pill to work and uncertainity of my gals cooperation says why bother.

I'm sure others with prostate removed have the same questions, and most Dr.s don"t have the answers.

The prostate and its adjunct muscles (the autorhythmic/contractile muscles) are the major site of testosterone and DHT receptors. Without them, there is no orgasm contraction. When the prostate is removed, no semen/sperm will be ejaculated because the ejaculation duct is tightened up.
Doctors know the prostate removal will kill ejaculation orgasm.
Libido is triggered by the brain due to the stimulation of testosterone and dopamine on the brain cerebral cortex.
