Hi,

I'm just wondering, and I know this is sort of a stupid question, but I just need to know what color vaginal fluid is. I mean, last night, my boyfriend and I made love and it was definitely protected. But, when he pulled out, we both noticed some white fluid both on him and myself. I'm just worried about this and I need to know if I need to get emergency contraception. If there's even a chance that vaginal fluid is white, it would make me feel so much better. Neither of us know how the fluid got out of the condom if it was, indeed, his fluid. He even wore his underwear where only inside was the fold/opening of his condom. If you could, please email me back as soon as possible. I would deeply appreciate it.

Yes! The vaginal discharge (Cervical mucus) turns to white and becomes thicker in the Luteal Phase (high temperature period) as shown in

In the conceptive period, it is clear and watery.
Before the conceptive period, it is between clear and milky white, and watery.
The white fluid may be your vaginal ejaculation with cervical mucus.
There is a complete difference in smell between semen and vaginal discharge.
If you have some doubt about condom safety, you should combine condom and water-based spermicide.
