Hi Dr. Lin,
I am a 39 year old Hispanic male, who has masturbated at an average rate of 4-5 times a week. About a year and a half ago I took up bicycling. I ride on the average 20 miles a week. I have an extremely good bike seat that eliminates penile numbness due to bike riding. The only pressure is put on my seat bones, and there is no bike seat "horn" pressing into my groin area, which is common with other bike seats. Since I have been using this seat, i no longer get penile numbness. My problem may just be coincidence to my new bike hobby, I think it is from over masturbation. i followed common US doctor's advice of excessive masturbation is not bad for you, but good to clear your male tubes. Now I can see, they are wrong. I have problems getting erections, and if I do, it is not a strong one most of the time. morning erecions are becoming far less infrequent to. I have also noticed my hair is thinning, but not balding yet, I get blurry vision sometimes (I wear soft contacts, and have bad nearsightedness/astigmitism). It seems like my libido has decreased to. What's wrong, and can i be cured of this frustrating problem. by the way, diabetes runs in my family, and I have been screened with negative results. If anything it came back I was a bit hypoglycemic.

You have experienced the symptoms associated with sexual exhaustion due to over-masturbation/over-ejaculation.
Thinning hair is a result of over-conversion of testosterone to DHT and the excessive binding of DHT to the hair rooting cells.
Over-masturbation/Over-ejaculation generally drains out the brain's juices - acetylcholine, dopamine and serotonin, which control and coordinate the entire body functions. Particularly, the acetylcholine and parasympathetic nervous functions, the bioelectrically recharging circuits of all the internal organs, are concerned. Acetylcholine in the neurons is responsible for the signal communication, sensing (vision, hearing and touching) and affecting. The entire body nervous functions rely on the availability of acetylcholine in the synapses or neuromuscular cells. Eye and ear circuits rely on acetylcholine to sense the objects and on dopamine to amplify and filter the sensing signals. Serotonin in the synapses is to modulate the signal transmissions. Serotonin also help preserve the dopamine and norepinephrine levels and reduce their conversion to epinephrine (stress hormone) that can hyperactivate the sympathetic nervous functions for stress and anxiety. 
Draining acetylcholine will force the parasympathetic nervous function go low. The first impact is the liver function which has to provide the essential enzymes for hormonal and neurotransmitter syntheses, for the balance testosterone and estrogen, for the coordination of the testosterone-DHT conversion that is essential to keep erection/engorgement hard, and for unbinding DHT from the prostate hormone receptors and hair rooting cells. A weak liver function will result in hypoglycemia. Powering your liver and pancreas functions is the key for preventing diabetes.
A low dopamine level will deactivate the brain/pituitary-testicular (ovarian) functions for low libido and sperm/semen production (irregular menstrual cycling for women).
