There are 3 major factors associated with formation of Fibroid tumors:
1. Estrogen Dominance - the major factor. Estrogen dominance causes fibroid tumor growth due to the fact that the key action of estrogen is to create proliferative endometrium - the uterine mucous membrance (lining). Fibroids develop following the onset of menstruation, enlarge during pregnancy and shrink after menopause.
There many ways to reduce estrogen: anti-estrogen; natural progesterone to slow down the pituitary LH for reduction of the ovarian estrogen production; plant hormones such as plant estrogen (isoflavones, which biochemical effect is about 1/1000 of the natural estrogen) to take over the estrogen receptor sites.
For natural progesterone therapy: New VIP Cream contains 200-mg progesterone in a 4-oz jar (the old label does not show this ingredient) and 600-mg Wild Yam extract.
