First of all, thank you for the wonderful products you provide and for your genuine help that you have provided to me and others like me that have requested your advice. I've always been curious about nightime erections. Does the penis 'grow' while sleeping? When the parasympathetic nervous function reaches the penile/clitoral/urethral spongy tissues after doing the energy restoration and the healing job for other organs, it turns on its neuro-muscular endings for prostaglandin E-1 production and the neuro-arterial endings for releasing the 2nd neurotransmitters Nitric Oxide to the arterial walls where the nitric oxide in the arterial "smooth muscles" is synthesized to the arterial dilator cGMP. A surge of cGMP and a lack of stress hormone acting the sympathetic alpha receptors (for arterial constriction) in the arteries when you are at rest, the arteries in urethral spongy tissues dilates to allow a large volume of blood flow to balloon the urethral spongy tissues faster enough to pinch (seal off) the returning penile veins. It's action is like an automechenical inflating in a newly mounting tire where the instantaneously tire inflation seals the air gap. If the penile veins can not fully be fully sealed off with an extra sexual stimulation, it is called venous leakage.
When the spongy tissues are frequently and spontaneously ballooning up, the hormone/enzyme-enriched blood fills up the spongy spaces where DHT (derived from testosterone + the liver enzyme 5-alpha reductase) and hGH trigger cellular renewal and multiplication.
