Case Study - The 5-month baby responds to the cervical/uterine contraction upon sexual orgasm.
Reader:01/13/2002>
Dear Dr. Lin,
I am 5 months pregnancy and I often masturbate, but during the last two months I've felt uncomfortable masturbating. The problem is right when I'm about to orgasm my stomach becomes very hard. Also, when I touch the hardened area, it feels like a lump. This happens everytime I'm about to reach orgasm. Why does this happen? Am I harming my baby in any way? Or is the baby just moving?
Dr. Lin: 01/14/2002>
Yes! Your baby responds to the cervical/uterine contraction and moves away from your cervix to avoid "discharge". It is the baby's natural defense (actually, offense).
You should avoid orgasm from now on.

Particularly, highly orgasmic women has a lower progesterone level. Progesterone released from the placenta is a natural pregnant security guard. Progesterone dampens the cervical/uretine contraction. A high level of progesterone in the bloodstream (of course, in the pelvic floor too) will cause uncomfortable touching or penetration pain in your clitoris and vagina to turn off your sex, although a high level of estrogen released from the placenta makes your vagina and clitoris extremelt watery and wet.
