Reconnection of the Governing and Conception Vessels Via el Condor’s (Eagle’s) Anal Breathing Sexual ChiKung – the Vagus-Spinal Nervous Stimulation Qi-Gong (打通任督二脈的老鷹迷走神功)

The Vagus-Spinal Nervous Stimulation Qi-Gong (打通任督二脈的老鷹迷走神功) – known as Dr. Lin’s Aquila Anal Breathing Qigong

Introduction: Chi (Qi) as Bioelectricity

My ideas are derived from the Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) concept with western neuroscience  and body electric theory (http://action.love/extra/electric.htm ).  My mission is to introduce the classic Chi-Kong (aka ChiKung or Qi-Gong)  with the neuroscience and to uncover the TCM Qi-Gong healing mysteries.   I interpreted Chi as body electric  (or simply, bioelectricity) based upon my personal experience with spinal tumor removal, Anal Breathing Qi-Qong practice (Vagus-Spinal Nervous Stimulation) for ejaculation control,  my  person experience with ejaculation orgasm energy (pulses) rising from the prostate and seminal vesicles (triggered by sympathetic motors nerves from Discs L1-L3)  toward the brain along the spine (or the acupuncture Governing Vessel),  my wife’s orgasm energy path mapping along the acupuncture Conception Vessel  which is associated with the vagus sensory nerves from the genital (the uterus, G-spot and clitoris) to the brain (including the brainstem, hypothalamus/limbic, front-brain rewarding dopaminergic circuit and cerebral motoring control center) via the heart and lungs, and Dr. Robert O. Becker’s “The Body Electric. Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life” (with Gary Selden). Morrow, New York 1985.

As a vagus-spinal Qi-Gong practicer, I had had the first-hand experience about the Chi flow variation myself  before and after a spinal tumor removed on March 8,  2010.  The spinal tumor disrupted my Chi flow, a heat flow generated by the Anal Breathing’s gluteal muscle contraction against the tailbone,  floating upward to my brainstem, and cut off the sensory nervous transmission to cause numbness in the low body below the tumor location at T7-T8.  From April of 2009, I had started to develop feet numbness  since I started to jog 5 miles a day in the Thanksgiving of 2008. In October of 2009, the numbness progressed up to the legs; the tumor started to intercept sensory nervous transmission from the low body, resulting in unexpected falling down to ground and in disabling somatic nervous muscle control  when the nervous reflex arcs of  T7 and T8 were triggered by stimulation in the feet or joints. During January- February of 2012, I sprained my left ankle twice without feeling pain and the left leg became immobile (paralyzed) .  Although it interrupted my sensory and left somatic nerves,  it didn’t affect my parasympathetic and sympathetic erectile nervous function; instead, it prolonged my ejaculation time longer and longer to infinite while retaining an erection.  It was a man’s dream for prolonging sex with a normal hard erection. This also let me ignore the existing of the tumor.  When the numbness moved to my low back in February of 2010, I decided to visit a neurosurgeon.  My neurosurgeon conducted a DC current and potential measures along my spine to locate the tumor before requesting a MRI imaging for me.  It was found that the DC potential along my spine abruptly dropped down across the T7-T8 toward my tailbone.  This means there was a nervous blockage in T7-T8.  After confirming the tumor location with the MRI images on March 7, 2010,  we decided to have the tumor removed on March 8, 2010.  Removal of the tumor allows the nervous (Chi) flow to resume and the numbness gradually disappears from the location of the tumor down to the toes.  After 24 hours in the ICU room, I tested  my Anal Breathing’s gluteal muscle contraction against the tailbone to see if I could move my Chi up to my brainstem again;  I was glad to feel the heat (Chi)/energy flow passing T7-T8 toward my brainstem.  This re-confirmed  my “Chi-as-Bioelectricity” theory. Since then, I have always joked that my neurosurgeon re-opened my acupuncture Governing Vessel (spine.)   Today, bioelectricity has been widely used in healing, but the western medical societies refuses to recognize it as the Chinese so-called Chi.  While the TCM won’t refer Chi as bioelectricity in order to retain its myth,  TCM professors in China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, teamed with electric and electronic engineering scientists have developed body electrode potential meters for analyses of Chi in the acupuncture meridians and for electric pulsing stimulation of the acupuncture points.  Nowadays, bioelectric stimulation for healing and regeneration has been widely used in the western and oriental medical societies.  This implies what the TCM so-called Chi is bioelectricity, indeed, in the western medical societies, and acupuncture is a nervous stimulation on the special points of the so-called acupuncture meridians adjacent to the major nerves or on those which can provide more effective stimulation on the brain.  My “Chi-as-bioelectricity theory” lets the East meet the West.  There are too many referred medical publications and reports on nervous stimulation to be named in the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health’s website – http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=electrical+nervous+stimulation. For examples, I found the typical review articles:

What is Qi-Gong?

The Chinese character “氣”, Chi (or Qi), means air;  and , 功Kong (Kung or Gong), means work or energy in physics; Qi-Gong, meaning “air works”,  can be interpreted as “let air generate energy in your body,” which is beyond the common sense of oxygen in support of life.   There are two ways of breathing air to create energy: 1). oxygen, naturally, and 2). breathing to excite the brain and central nervous systems, and to promote the endocrine function. anti acidity. The later is the principle of Qi-Gong Breathing,  Kundalini Yoga Breathing, and Taoism and Buddhism meditation.  Static Qi-Gong (meditation) is to use rhythmically deep breathing to reset the central nervous system and the dopamine-hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis via the vagus nervous stimulation.  The dynamic Qi-Gong is to include deep breathing and muscle expansion and contraction exercises to recharge the vagus and spinal/peripheral nervous system (sensory, somatic and autonomic (parasympathetic and sympathetic)  nervous division) via the endocrine function with liver P450 enzymes in the endocrine organs and the exercising skins and tissues.

TCM’s Chi, Nervous Function and Electromagnetic Field

TCM’s Chi (Qi) means the life force or energy. TCM has used it to interpret disease causes and effects since the beginning of Chinese civilization (about 5000 years ago).  In the old days, Chinese ancestors didn’t have electronic microscope to observe neurons, or electromagnetic instruments to measure neuro-conduction or to scan the brain nervous activities, instead, they discovered there is an body energy field,  termed as Chi, which can be used  for diagnosis  and curing illness and  disease.  According to the classic TCM teaching in “The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine黃帝內經,” Chi can display Jin精,  wellbeing in English, and radiate Shen神, spirit in English, through the eyes and face (and skin),  as a powerful infrared emission and reflection for adjacent people to sense or feel.  Therefore, a Qi-Gong energized practicer will emit Jin精, Chi氣and Shen 神 from the head (eyes and face), known as “three flowers floating on the top (三華蓋頂)” and his/her  Chi in the five organ systems, including lungs, heart,  liver,  Kidney Vessel (the endocrine organs:  kidneys, adrenal glands, and testicles or ovaries),  and digestive system,  should be generated harmonically like a spring source of five streams (五氣朝源.)

Today, the TCM system still refuses to modernize its theory with neuroscience for one reason that Chi covers nervous functions and beyond which cannot be interpreted by the modern medical science.  That is why the western medical societies consider acupuncture as pseudoscience or pseudomedical.  However,  nervous stimulation has been widely used in many emergency treatments or the long-term care of chronic nervous disorders.  Some clinic studies have proved the acupuncture or sham needle insertion can release or even cure chronic pain. An interested study known as ” Acupuncture for Migraine Prophylaxis, by Klaus Linde and et.al. , published on Oct. 7, 2009 in the Cochrane Library ” shows that the needle insertion in both the acupuncture points and the sham points produces the same benefit of treatments.  The authors concluded ” Collectively, the studies suggest that migraine patients benefit from acupuncture, although the correct placement of needles seems to be less relevant than is usually thought by acupuncturists.” Obviously, as long as  you can stimulate the nervous systems to release dopamine, endorphin, serotonin and GABA, you should get some benefits.  It is no wonder that electrode acupuncture or electro-pulse nervous stimulation  (i.e. vagus nervous stimulation or VNS) has been widely used in the alternative and mainstream medicines. antidepressants. The basic principle behind the treatments is nervous stimulation despite of different medical terms. Nervous stimulation can be achieved in many ways without needling insertion too, such as electrode implant for constant stimulation, pressure massage,  cupping massage,  skin stimulation with herbs (like hot pepper, ginger or peppermint extract), infrared thermo effects, non-destructive stretching or compressing exercises (regular exercises, or special exercises like yoga and Qi-Gong), brain and nervous nutrients, increase of androgen hormones, and/or improvement of blood circulation.

Here, Chi is considered as the body’s DC electromagnetic field (energy) induced by nerve systems and the blood magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow in the magnetic field of the nervous transmission, earth, and earth’s ionosphere (from 85 km (53 mi) to 600 km(370 mi) altitude). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionosphere
I mean,  Chi is far beyond the anatomy of the brain and nervous systems. It is the interaction among the brain /nervous systems, blood circulation and internal-external electrocmagnetic fields.  For this reason, the acupuncture points are neither in the major neurons or blood vessels except the Governing Vessel is assumed to be along the spine which houses the spinal nerves,  the extension of the central nervous system.  The brain and nervous functions are the main sources of the body electric  and play the dominant role in the Chi theory.

Chi can be alternated by body chemical and physical processes, psychologically and physiologically. The involved factors include mind, psychic power (or religion) , nutrients, body chemistry, air (oxygen), sunlight, meditation, breathing, thermal effects, electromagnetic fields, nervous stimulation, exercises (mechanical stretching and compression of bones and muscles),  massage, internal and skin/tissue endocrine functions, blood circulation, drugs, industrial and environmental chemicals, and viral infection.

My body-electric based Chi theory can interpret and solve rheumatoid arthritis which I suffered from 1988-1994. Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory response of nerves in joints to the variation of ionosphere altitude and thickness as a result of weather change.  The patient can  forecast the weather more accurate than weather men do.

Solar storms can affect the body electric field (Chi) too, and alternate human psychology. MRI can temporarily change both the body DC electric field  and the blood MHD induced electric field. Surgery won’t cut off acupuncture meridians unless cutting off major nerves, major blood vessels or removing organs, but may alternate the location of the acupuncture points and meridians.  Organs transplant will alternate the organ-associated acupuncture points and meridians until the vagus and autonomic nerves to the organ are reconnected.  It may take few years for a transplanted heart to start to respond to the vagal and sympathetic nervous inputs.

How Does Qi-Gong work?

Your mind, psychological  or physical stimulation,  or cerebral control can consciously activate Chi (the unconscious electric energy in the brain and autonomic nervous (vagus/parasympathetic and sympathetic) to function via somatic nerves.  This is the foundation of  Chinese ChiKung (Chi-Kong or Qi-Gong) Breathing and Hindu Kundalini Breathing of Fire.  Both Breathing methods use the diaphragmatic (abdominal) contraction and expansion to activate the vagus nerves in the second brain, the enteric nervous system (ENS) in the gastrointestinal system, so that the vagus nerves can relay the stimulation sign nerves to the first brain’s dopamine-hypothalamus-pituitary axis, known as vagus nervous stimulation (VNS).  VNS can awake the dopamine-hypothalamus-pituitary axis in a short time.   Traditionally, we massage around the  navel (belly button) with peppermint and ginger oil to seduce the digestive panic and enteric nervous anxiety via the opioid kappa receptors. (κ-opioid receptors).  Slow Qi-Gong deep, long inhaling with abdominal expansion and sinking Chi from the throat and lungs to the gastrointestinal tracts and pelvic cavity (including the bladder, prostate, bulbourethral glands, ovaries, uterus and perineum) can control anxiety and panic in a short time while rapid inhaling (Breathing of Fire) with abdominal contraction can cause headache, anxiety and panic. thyroid health. Rapid inhaling with low abdominal expansion to sink Chi into the pelvic cavity can very effectively control the ejaculation reflex arc of the sympathetic nerves in Discs L1-L3. Anal Breathing Qi-Gong uses the slow Qi-Gong deep, long inhaling technique (moving the Chi from the throat and lungs down the pelvic cavity and perineum along the Conception Vessel to keep the vagus nerves activating),  followed by step-wise rapid inhaling while contracting the gluteal muscles (also known as butt exercises) against the tailbone and anus to generate a heat or energy flow (generated by the DHEA-testosterone-DHT conversion in the local androgen hormone receptors) into the spinal cord (along the acupuncture Governing Vessel) to activate the spinal nerves.  The energy flow can awake sexual arousal. For men, the energy flow should not be generated in the PC/ perineum muscles to activate the pre-ejaculation and prostate fluid  release, while for women the  energy flow should be generated by both the PC/perineum and tailbone/anal muscles to increase the sexual arousal.  In this regard, men must avoid PC/perineum muscle contraction and the nervous reflex arcs in Discs L1-L3 if they want to achieve effective ejaculation control. This means, men should train the nervous reflex arcs of the tailbone nerves S1-S5 and Co to replace the nervous reflex arcs in Discs L1-L3 with inputs from the prostate, seminal vesicles, bulbourethral glands, and PC/perineum muscles. Holding a light pressure against the bladder to expand the PC/perineum muscles can avoid PC muscle contraction.  Both the vagus and spinal nerves relay the stimulation signals to meet each other in the brainstem and hypothalamus where they are re-connected physically. Simultaneous stimulation from both nervous system produces a high level of physiological and psychiatric wellness and rewarding with activation of the central dopaminergic, cholinergic,  noradrenergic, adrenergic, autonomic nervous system (vagus, parasympathetic, and sympathetic) and optimal nervous modulation serotoninergic, GABAergic and endophinergic nervous modulation.

The central dopaminergic, cholinergic, noradrenergic, adrenergic, autonomic nervous system (vagus, parasympathetic, and sympathetic) can unconsciously promote Chi, including Yang, Ying, Wei (defense) and fires, while the central serotoninergic, GABAergic and endophinergic nervous system can seduce Chi to modulate the stress response axis – the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis,  and then switch Yang to Ying, or from the sympathetic nervous mode to the parasympathetic nervous mode in the autonomic nervous system.

Re-connection of The Governing and Conception Vessels打通任督二脈

To safely and effectively guild the stimulation on the central nervous systems, I have developed sexual ChiKung (Qi-Gong) exercises by incorporating my Anal Breathing method (used to be for ejaculation control n my book Resonant Excitation Of Sexual Orgasms – Tao Of Love Coupling”), which indeed performs a simultaneous vagus-and-spinal/coccygeal nervous stimulation that activates the acupuncture Governing and Conception Vessels through the brainstem and the hypothalamus. In the KungFu term, I call it re-connection of the Governing (along central back-body) and Conception (along central front-body)Vessels (打通任督二脈.)  In other words, I have created the special exercises to stimulate the vagus and spinal nerves into a neuroplasticity state in response to mind (Chi) focusing and controlling movement. To understand why we have to train the vagus and spinal nerves to reconnect the Governing and Conception Vessels, we first have to associate the vagus and spinal nerves  with the acupuncture meridians.  In fact, the vagus nerves extensively form the font-body acupuncture meridians with the blood circulation to internal organs, while the spinal nerves and peripheral nervous system (sensory, somatic and autonomic (parasympathetic and sympathetic)  nervous division), with the blood circulation to internal organs, constitute the backbone of  the back-body acupuncture meridians.  The vagus nerves and the central spinal nerves are interfaced each other at the hypothalamus and brainstem (via Dopaminergic D2 receptors on the vagal afferent nerves). The vagal and parasympathetic (coccygeal) Ying channel powers the dopaminergic Yang Channel without triggering stress responses from the dopamine-hypothamalus-pituitary-adrenal axis and sympathetic nervous system. The anal breathing uses vagus-nervous (diaphragmatic or baby) stimulation breathing to promote the pituitary gland to release oxytocin and endorphins via the dopaminergic D2 receptors in the pituitary gland,  and,  at the same time, utilizes contracting the gluteus muscles to stimulate the coccygeal parasympathetic nerves (S1-S5 and Co). Then, with both oxytocin and endorphins in the bloodstream, the  anal breathing also turns on the sympathetic nervous beta-adrenergic receptors which indeed turn stress (norepinephrine and epinephrine) into good energy (Yang Chi/Qi). In this way, the spinal nervous stimulation becomes very beneficial for health and sex, without turning on the sympathetic nervous fires with excessive norepinephrine and epinephrine. Thus,  my sexual ChiKung (Qi-Gong) is a dopaminergic nervous power (pure Yang) source driven by the vagus and parasympathetic nervous stimulation.

Application of Anal Breathing Qi-Gong to Sex

The main purpose of Anal Breathing Qi-Gong is to enhance health via the vagus-spinal nervous stimulation.  A dopaminergic enhancing health body naturally wakes up sexual functions. Elevation of the DC field in the central nervous system and vagus nerves energizes libido and heightens sexual responses to any stimulations.  This is a bonus of the Qi-Gong pratices.  Further, one can use the somatic nerves with gluteal and tailbone-anal muscle contraction to generate  his (or her) Chi/Qi into the glan penis and testicles (or uterus/g-spot/clitoris) which is the “southmost” (farthest) ending point of the vagus nerve in the male (or female) body where the vagus afferent nerve activates the pituitary gland to release oxytocin for initiation of male and female orgasmic contraction.  During 1977-1978, my wife mapped the orgasmic energy path from the G-spot/uterus, heart, lungs, face to the front brain via the Conception Vessel, now known as the vagus nervous path, as shown in http://www.actiontao.com/image/path.jpg ( or http://action.love/cases/case1217.htm , or http://action.love/extra/whatsorgasm.htm#Readers_Sexual_Orgasm_Experiences_and_Problems ),  which was published in my book Resonant Excitation Of Sexual Orgasms – Tao Of Love Coupling” in 1997 http://action.love/love/book.htm .

Anal Breathing Qi-Gong for Ejaculation Control

Male orgasm usually takes the path of  the spinal nerves (along the Governing Vessel) since ejaculation is triggered by the prostate ejaculation and seminal vesicle emission nervous reflex arcs in Discs L1-L3. If you can avoid L1-L3 nervous reflex arcs,  limit the prostate and bulbourethral glands to release pre-ejaculation fluid (pre-cum) with a high level of prostaglandin E2 and histamine that activate the Discs L1-L3 nervous reflex arcs without relaying to your brain, allow the tailbone nervous reflex arcs S1-S5 and Co to take over orgasmic contraction , and let  the glans penis’ vagus nerve, like the clitoral vagus nerves, to initiate the hypothalamus-pituitary oxytocin release for orgasm, you can have dry orgasm without seminal ejaculation.  Premature ejaculation occurs when Discs L1-L3 nervous reflex arcs are short-circuited by the prostaglandin E2 and histamine stimulation inside the prostate, seminal vesicles, and urethra. While the precum chemistry shorts Discs L1-L3 nervous reflex arcs,  a high level of prostaglandin E2 and histamine in semen can stimulate the seminal vesicles and prostate for sexual anxiety when the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis activates dopamine-norepinephrine conversion. When the hypothalamus and adrenal glands release  sufficient norepinephrine to induce excess prostagladnin E-2 and histamine in the prostate and seminal vesicles. You will feel pelvic congestive pain and anxiety.  A minor stimulation of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis from your mind, vision, hearing or physical contacts (such as kissing,  petting, and son on)  will result in semen emission from the seminal vesicles to the prostate to fire up immediate ejaculation by the prostate-Discs L1-L3 circuits.  Semen or/and sperm retention can result in over-expansion (known as the blueball effect for the testicles)  of the seminal vesicles and  the testicular vas deferens to accumulate excessive prostaglandin E2 and/or histamine in activation of  Discs L1-L3 nervous reflex arcs for unconscious release or sexual anxiety unless the testicular function slows down itself by reducing the release of activin and inhibin into the bloodstream to the pituitary as a feedback control.  Men after midlife seem to be able to successfully practice semen and sperm retention with help of the Anal Breathing. The Anal Breathing’s gluteal muscle contraction can also shift the response circuits from the prostate-Discs L1-L3 to the gluteal-muscle-Discs L1-L3. You have to train the response reflex arcs of Tailbone Nerves S1-S5 and Co and Discs L1-L3 into neuroplasticity and also avoid prostaglandin E2 and histamine release if you want to prolong sex for 1-2 hours.

Lovemaking Double-culturing Gong (夫妻雙修功)

Vagus-Spinal Nervous Stimulation Qi-Gong can be applied to lovemaking. In fact, Lovemaking is the most powerful vagus-spinal nervous stimulation without using external electric pulses. Simultaneously mutual stimulation of the vagus nerves on the cervix, clitoris (or pubis) and penis during sex can be achieved with my 3-point excitation love position (method), in which the man uses his penis to massage  his partner’s cervix, g-spot and vaginal ending, and his pubis to massage his partner’s clitoris at the same time while performing mutual-tongue-penetration kiss to activate the glossopharyngeal nerve (CN IX) and hypoglossal nerve (CN VII).  I suggest “screwing” movement of the male pubis over the clitoris , or grinding/swinging movement of the clitoris over the male pubis.  Screwing, grinding and swinging movements are also included in my sexual Qi-Gong exercises which allow you to practice yourself  “off-line” without a partner, like simple exercises.   During the intercourse, combining the 3-point excitation method with the Anal Breathing’s gluteal and tailbone muscle contraction will give the lovemaking couple a most powerful vagus-spinal nervous stimulation.   We call this type of lovemaking as Double-culturing Gong (夫妻雙修功). Practicing Double-culturing Gong in the morning for 10 minutes without ejaculating will boost your dopamine and testosterone over the roof, like taking a dopamine-enhancing drug.   Using Double-culturing Gong to achieve orgasm will stimulate the dopamine-hypothalamus-pituitary axis to flood oxytocin, prolactin and Arginine vasopressin (AVP) into the bloodstream for sexual satisfaction and emotional bonding, good for marriage.

In addition to stimulate the major endocrine organs, my sexual Qi-Gong exercises also activate the neuroendocrine function in the tissues and skin for human growth and androgen hormonal syntheses with the liver P450 enzymes, which in turn recharge the nervous systems and sexual energy.  It is the best natural medicine I have ever found in my life.

  1. Years ago, one of the world’s leading spine sugnroes made this statement at a large medical conference in Las Vegas, Nevada: Your first back surgery is your best chance, your second back surgery is your last chance. You are done with surgery. It hasn’t solved your problem (in fact, it may be the cause of your continuing problems).Couple of suggestions. First, how many Chiropractic evaluations/consults have you had? A good Chiropractor may be a very valuable resource for you.Second, there is a wonderful book available that explains the many unappreciated causes of chronic pain and how to effectively treat the causes to relieve the pain. If you read this book, you will understand the many ways that surgery and even pain medications can actually aggravate and cause long-term chronic pain. The book is written by Sherry Rogers, M.D. and is called: Pain Free in 6 Weeks . It is available at Amazon.com or from the publisher at 1-800-846-6687. I highly recommend this book.Best wishes and good luck.
