My name is Marla, I am a 22 year old female in the US. I am presently on the Depooprovera shot, for over a year and a half. I still get my period fairly regularly (once every 2 months for two weeks at regular to heavy flow) this is in comparison to my flow without birthcontrol which was very irregular (once every 6-12 months for a month to 2 months straight at extremely heavy flows -- a new super tampon every 20 minues or I'd flow through). Ever since getting on Depoo, when my period ends, I have problems with foul-smelling brown discharge that is about as heay as my period was, and lasts for approximatly 2 weeks. I have had this problem ever since getting on the Depoo shot. I have tried to talk to my doctor about it, but she refuses to acknowledge I even exist other than to take my copay from me. I do not know what is wrong, and I talked to my primary physician, who admitted that he had no idea what could be wrong and I needed to talk to my gyno. Unfortunatly,!

After reading your website, I have found out that this discharge could mean anything from having vaginal dysplasia to vaginal warts.
