You see, I started masturbating very young. I was probably about 10 years old when I started masturbating. I did it everyday for years. The reason I started doing it, is it seemed to 'numb' me. But, the same problem exists, if I try to stop or cut down a lot, I notice a lot of emotional discomfort. I feel depressed, aggitated, worried, irritable, etc. So, I start up again.

What could be the reason for the depression, emotional pain and discomfort? How come, when I try to stop, I feel like hell? It almost seems like a drug, and self medication. Is it withdrawls??? And would they stop after a while? I have also noticed on the flip side, that when I masturbate, I feel depressed after a while. It isn't guilt, or self pitty.
