Since your ovarian function has been shut down by the birth control pills, your uterine lining becomes too thin due to a lack of natural progetserone. The slight separation
(peeling off) of the thin uterine lining causes a very slow uterine bleeding, like a miscarriage, and the discharging blood is trapped and
then oxidized in your vagina where the vaginal yeasts change its color. Some yeasts can turn the
oxidized blood into green or blue too, in addition to brown.
