Dear Dr. Lin,
I have experienced prostatitis for many years (I am 46 yrs/ male) with varying degrees of discomfort. I have a slight urethral stricture which a urologist dilates twice a year. Recently I had a physical as well and psa was fine. Digital rectal by urolgist was fine also.
My personal habits for many years was masturbation of 3 times a day. I used to smoke marijuana about 4 times a week but quit over 2 months ago thinking this might be aggravating the condition. I don't do any other illegal drugs and never have. I don't smoke/never have cigarettes and I don't drink alcohol. I might consume 1 soda a day maximum.
