My wife and I have a great sex life. My question for you is in regards to anal stimulation: I read on your site that the problems with anal sex relate to prostaglandin E2 and cox-2 expression, which I follow. But both my wife and I enjoy anal butt plugs and/or digital penetration, especially her. We don't have anal intercourse. My question is what is the effect of digital and plug anal stimulation on orgasm? If there is no prostaglandin E2 present in the rectum, does that limit the cox-2 expression while allowing us to enjoy the nerve pleasure? She specifically enjoys oral and digital masturbation orgasms with clitoral, g-spot, and anal stimulation concurrently, but has no desire for anal intercourse. I enjoy pleasing her manually, just want to make sure she is ok.

IIn fact, the anal stimulation is very similar to the vaginal stimulation; the
main side effects are due to semen's prostaglandin E2 or the over-sized or high
frequency object induced nervous damage or prostaglandin E2 release.
As along as you don't use an over-sized or/and high-frequency pulsing object
which may induces bowel movement incontinence, anal stimulation, which can pulse
the orgasmic contraction and send it into the tailbone, should be OK. It is
like stimulation on the tailbone nerves Co and S1-S5. Please make sure
that there is sufficient lubrication in the anus.
