Vasectomy causes epididymitis, weak erection, premature ejaculation, ... for no more sexual orgasm

I am a 40 year old male. About 7 years ago I had a closed-ended vasectomy. Three years later I started having prostatitis. It seemed to clear up after I completely changed my diet - no yeast, no sugar. However, in the last year and a half I have developed epididymitis. It has now become chronic. Over the last 2-3 years my erections are weak, I experience premature ejaculation and my sex life is gone - I am married. My testicles are very sore, my epididimis are both extremely swollen. I feel like I have the flu - body aches, headache pain and nausea. My urologist wants to remove my epididymis but I have heard that an open-ended vasectomy might work better. Do you have any thoughts on this issue? I was given V?agra but the pain is too severe to even try sex.
