Reader: 6/29/2005>Hi Dr. Lin, I will be 40 years old in August 2005. I started have vaginal problems after birth of my second son. He is my last child, I have 2 boys they are 21/2 years apart. The my problems came with the second child especially. He was a very difficult birth. I had 100% placenta previa. This resulted in having a c-section (bikini cut) in January 1989. Ever since then I had sever hormonal problems. (I also have a tilted uterus and fibroid tumors about the size of lemons (2 in all) which I have controlled with a strict vegetarian diet. I later developed Adenomyosis (advanced endometriosis) by the age of 35.)I am a strict vegetarian and my diet is at least 90% organic. I do not eat fried or heavily cooked foods and no processed foods. Still this did not solve my hormonal problems. No gyn doctor could help me. Severe depression set in and excessive facial hair growth began at about the age of 31. I attempted lots of exercise and in my youth I was always in gymnastics throughout elementary to high school. So exercise for me was inspiring. This still did not help me with my hormonal imbalance. I was told by a "Wholistic" doctor that heavy exercise will cause hormonal imbalance and "hair growth" on the face. I started experiencing menopausal symptoms by the age of 34 which became severe by the age of 37. I went from gyn doctor to gyn doctor. I was told that I was imagining things. One doctor's office who was a well known African American gyn doctor and acupuncturist had a listing of 49 known menopausal symptoms. I was at her office at the age of 35. Ironically, I had 47 of the symptoms but I was only 35 years old! She said that I was imagining all of my symptoms and that there was no way that I could be experiencing these symptoms. I lost hope. I did not return to her after that. As a note, to my knowledge, I did not have a tubligation after my second son. I say to my knowledge, because I would never want to have one. At least not after just 2 children! I was told by a different wholistic doctor that "excessive" estrogen causes excessive hair growth on the face. My sex drive is at an all time low and my vagina is very weak. However, I have been seeing someone whom I love very, very much!!! he has about 6 inch penis and it "hooks" very much to the left. I actually like the "hook!" So long as the penis isn't too large, the "hook" feature is very pleasing! I am very wet when stimulated. I do not have a problem with becoming wet! The main problem is the hormonal imbalance and a "weak" vagina. It is very difficult for me to perform Kegal exercises. I tire quickly when doing them. He knows that I love him very much but he is frustrated about my loose vaginal muscles. Finally, I would like to know what can I do about my problem(s) and also I have a concern about "Androgens" since I have excessive facial hair growth. This is because I was told be a gyn doctor that it is androgens that are effecting the coarseness of hair on my face. I don't smoke, and drink only on special occasions. Another note is that when I gave birth to my second son, at that time in my life, I was under severe stress and depression which did not subside "a little" until the end of the year 2004.
